What does it take to create a fan base..?? "Awe" is what will make you get it. How you get it depends on what audience you are looking at. Monetization is what most of us want. Alright, I'll jump on the AI bandwagon for a moment. I had a firsthand encounter with AI in my work a few weeks ago, courtesy of an attorney who asked me to assist on a case. He requested that I complete some research for him on a case; however, he would not need a chronology or report created because he had an AI-generated one. He kindly sent me the chronology to use as a reference in the research. It turns out the chronology was 1,800 pages of data from the medical records, rearranged into chronological order. 1,800 pages is a lot of data! In contrast, if I were to go through the records, I could have provided roughly 100 pages, including: - Relevant data only - Missing record recommendations - Definitions of medical jargon/abbreviations - Highlighting and/or color-coding relevant information per injury/disease process - Case strengths/weaknesses - Hyperlinks to the exact pages in the medical records where I found the information Don't get me wrong; I think AI is here to stay and is a powerhouse for certain tasks. Yet, in my humble opinion, it can't replace the brain and intuition of a nurse who has stood at the bedside of these patients and cared for them in real life. Let's embrace the future, but let's not forget the invaluable human touch that no algorithm can replace.
