It takes a lot of energy to grow a baby — just ask anyone who has been pregnant. But scientists are only now discovering just how much. In humans, the energetic cost of pregnancy is about 50,000 dietary calories — far higher than previously believed.
Forgive me if my maths is failing me, but that's about 185 calories a day. Doesn't seem like that much to me in a Western food environment. Maybe in our hunter gatherer days when every calorie was hard won, it would have been a big deal.
So just add that to the social credit score for anyone that wants to have a baby you’ll end up paying taxes for that.

1wAnother reason why women and only women should be given the control over whether or not they subject themselves to this. I am sorry Men, but whether you are a husband or long term partner, even you don't get any say in the a decision has over their body, to put themselves through the impact of a pregnancy. If you can't give birth then shut up your oppinion is irrelevant, also, if you can't take over and carry a specific woman's pregnancy then you can also keep your nose out that woman's business.
