Meet Captain Janice Anderson, a beacon of inspiration who has been with American for more than 36 years. Her journey has been nothing short of transformative, evolving from struggling with self-expression to leading with pride. 🌈👩✈️ When Capt. Anderson first joined the airline in 1988, there weren’t many gay female pilots in the industry. She fearlessly found her way by joining Women in Aviation International and the National Gay Pilots Association, eventually leading as the Vice President of NPGA and securing American as the first legacy carrier to actively recruit pilots at its annual conference. Captain Anderson also joined the pilot recruitment team to support the airline in expanding access and awareness of careers in aviation for all. 🙌 When American became the first major U.S. airline in 1993 to protect LGBTQ team members by including gender identity and expression, as well as sexual orientation in workplace nondiscrimination policies, she truly felt she could be the best and most authentic version of herself. Capt. Anderson and her wife, Koré, have been together for over 37 years, and she proudly shares her story to inspire authenticity in the workplace. Cheers to Capt. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by American Airlines following the loss of my laptop on June 22, in first class seat 3E. Despite immediate and prolonged efforts contacting your support across multiple states, and over seven hours on the phone, my laptop has not been recovered. This incident raises concerns about your cleaning protocols amidst the ongoing health crisis, and the lack of effective customer service has compounded my distress during a sensitive time, as I was traveling for a funeral. I request a prompt investigation, compensation for my laptop, and a formal apology. I have filed a police report due to the sensitive information on the laptop. I have a dear friend from Sardinia Italy who is a consultant to the National Carbonari, the national police force in Italy, Elia Manetti he was had a police conference and a young man that he was introduced to just as held his heart. The young man DJ was strcken with brain and spine cancer at the age of five they did not think he would make it to six his dad, who is a single dad has been raising DJ and his brothers DJ expressed strong desire to become a policeman in the past two years. He has over 100 counties and cities in the US that have made him honorary police officer. He is now 12 and has just graduated from FBI school he’s been on the view. He’s been Ellen and he’s such an inspirational young man. Elia has gotten the national Carbary police force in Italy to stand an invitation to DJ to become part of an honorary his first European tour. Elia has sent this information to Ron DeFeo to see if he could get the children and the dad over to Italyand several other police officers at a reduced price he has emailed Ron DeFao several times and has never gotten a response.
