Director of Sales & Marketing at Enterix | Empowering Med Device & Tech Startups with growth-focused marketing at Blu Rose Marketing
Most small med-tech companies suffer from one BIG problem: their messaging is missing the mark. They explain their products and services over and over, even after prospects have visited their websites, stopped by their booths, scrolled through their social posts, or talked to their reps. Why? Because their communication isn't clear. Clear communication is everything, so it's time to ditch the complicated jargon and stick to clear, simple language everyone can understand. You'd be far better off writing at an 8th-grade level and having everyone grasp your message than using technical language that only 10% of your audience gets. Here are two actionable tips to start writing in more straightforward language: 1. Test it out: Put your copy in front of people without any idea what your product does. If they can understand it, your target audience will too. 2. Simplify your sentences: Break down complex ideas into shorter, more digestible sentences. Avoid technical jargon and opt for standard terms your audience will easily understand. #medtechMarketing #ContentStrategy #ClearCommunication #CustomerEngagement

Let's make a pact. To stop adding to the heap of uninteresting, undifferentiated, corporate speak out there in the market. No one is interested. Employees aren't inspired by it. Customers ignore it. Here's the filter. If it doesn't capture your unique voice, expertise and offer specific value to your audience, then don't create it at all. Less content. Better stories. I'm in.
You have to stop sharing information and start telling stories. Read more: https://hubs.li/Q02bNSy00 Post written by Mary Fearon, Forbes Councils Member.

Heather Cmiel, APR spoke at my Advanced Public Relations #COMM481 course last week. She discussed her journey as a communications professional, the importance of confidence and networking in career transition, and her role at Aidoc, where she helps the company use AI to increase medical interventions for doctors. She also shared an important tip for creating content that really resonated with me: “squeeze the juice” out of the assignment. This means going beyond the basic requirements and finding ways to make your content more engaging and effective. For example, you could embed an Instagram reel in a blog post to improve viewer understanding. The possibilities are endless, but this method will always ensure more engaging content and help you achieve your organizational objectives more efficiently. @MetroStatePRMajors&Alums

Oh, and we’re making that content easy to understand for our audiences. And meeting quick deadlines to leverage a trend. ⬇️ what the research looks like most days.
