I was spending a few minutes this morning at #SXSW with Apollo, Apptronik’s cutting-edge humanoid robot and Yemi A.D., a founder, interdisciplinary creator, and dearMoon mission crew member. According to Apptronik, Apollo will be in production this year starting with supply chain applications, doing basic material handling tasks. Robots in warehouses is not new, but having a robot with a human form factor opens up new opportunities for the technology to add value in a world already built for that form. This is another example that the time is now to understand your AI strategy. Positive ROI in the next six months and then build your continuous transformation plan for years 2, 3, and 5. This is necessary so you are capturing the value of each advance…all the way to robots when they are viable in your industry, and beyond. Yemi A.D.’s story is very cool too.
