Members of our HR Advantage Group team recently attended the amazing Tortillas for Tepeyac event, where an astonishing $60,000 was raised for Tepeyac Community Health Center! It was certainly an event for the books, and we can't thank Jesse Ogas enough for the invite! If you're still interested in making a donation to help support culturally sensitive health care in Denver, you can do so here: https://lnkd.in/geFMuw8k

Fostering Ethical Lived Experience Inclusion in Development of Health Services and Health Knowledge.
Am going to point out that Charles Coyle, Director of Public Safety, makes $206,000. Compare that to asking for a $10 donation from those at the bottom living paycheck to paycheck and barely making rent. While Charles meanwhile can chip in $5,000 alone and still be doing just fine. In fact, if every one of the 23 director level roles directly under the Mayor, plus the Mayor themself, chipped in $5,000 annually, we'd have $120,000 per year that could be spent on clothes and hygiene. And those people would almost all still be living on $150K / year. If you then add the next richest 120 city staff, all of whom make over $100K, to chip in $100, that doubles the aid relief package to $240,000 annually. If the next highest paid 1,000 staff down give just two dollars (a single day without coffee), we're now raised $440,000 annually. How far does that go to help support the unhoused attempt to survive winter without dying freezing in the street? Pretty dang far. So yes, donations help from everywhere. But really think about the math on display here and how this could literally happen first thing Monday morning. We could give these people a few ratty old sweaters, or $440K, annually, in support. Why aren't we demanding the latter plan?
Hi friends & colleagues, our Behavioral Health Bureau Team is doing a clothing & hygiene drive to support our community partners & the unhoused population in the City of St. Louis. While our focus is to have the City’s employees make donations, if you have anything you would like to donate, I’d be more than happy to pick it up. Reach out to me by phone if you have my number. If not, message me here. The need is great & the work is incredibly impactful. Thanks in advance for your support!

I'm raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. I need your help. Please donate to support men's health. https://lnkd.in/emPWMu3h Men will die on average 4.5 years earlier than women and for reasons that are largely preventable, which means that it doesn’t have to be that way. Here’s five ways you can give yourself the best chance at living a healthy and long life. 1. Spend time with people that make you feel good 2. Talk, more. 3. Know the numbers. 4. Know thy nuts. Simple. 5. Move, more. More details can be found here: https://lnkd.in/e9SUecJ3

Chief Marketing Officer | X-Caliber l TEDX Speaker | Digital Marketer | Brand Expert | Author | Keynote Speaker | The Outlier Project
In the bustling realm of corporate culture, core values are key, and here are two of our core value "power players" that stand out in this post I am sharing: ✅Service and ✅Making a Difference. These aren't just buzzwords; they're the heartbeat of what makes a workplace different. How? ✅Service Business is about serving clients, but it can also include a commitment to serving communities. Embracing service as a core value means going beyond the transactional and entering the transformational. ✅ Making a Difference When giving back is woven into your corporate DNA, your organization becomes a force of positive change. That feels good 👍🏻. X-Caliber , X-Caliber Rural Capital, and CastleGreen Finance recently came together to help Open Door Family Medical Center. The team hosted a Baby Bundle and collected dozens of items for new parents in need. Why does a giving culture work in a company? 👍🏻It creates a Unified Purpose 👍🏻It supports Employee Fulfillment 👍🏻It s shapes Positive Culture Every act of service and commitment to making a difference extends beyond office walls and away from laptops and spreads into communities where we lend. That's a good thing! That's making an impact. Learn more about our corporate efforts and the work of X-Caliber's Charity Crusaders in the link in the comments section. If you work for a company that does good things, I would love to hear about your core values and what makes your workplace different. #doinggood #positiveculture #corporateculture #givingback
The X-Caliber , CastleGreen Finance, and X-Caliber Rural Capital teams recently held a fundraiser for the Open Door Medical Center, hosting a Baby Bundle drive to support members of the program who are new parents. At Open Door, midwives deliver over 400 babies a year, and many of the new moms and their partners are facing significant financial, housing, food supply, and other challenges. To support some of the new parents in need, the X-Caliber Charity Crusaders collected dozens of diapers, onesies, blankets, and other items for the program that supports Westchester and Putnam counties in New York. Our own Clementine Whitney and Sharon Callahan helped coordinate the items and deliver them to the center. Two of X-Caliber’s core values are service and making a difference, and the company hosts several fundraisers a year for different organizations across the country. For more information on ways to help Open Door, click here. https://hubs.li/Q01-_7CB0 Congratulations Crusaders on another great fundraiser. Every effort helps make a positive impact on the lives of others. Open Door Family Medical Center #givingback #service #xcaliber #castlegreenfinance #xcaliberruralcapital
