You know the issues that matter most to your patients. And for some practices, there's lots. But time and time again, there are three really simple ones we keep seeing: ⭐️ Managing expectations ⭐️ Cancelling or changing appointments ⭐️ Filling in forms If your hands are tied with everything else, start by getting these basic ones right. Then communicate that well and often to your patients. It might take 10 days, 3 weeks or even 6 months but consistency WILL pay off and make more of your patients happier with your service as a whole. Can't agree more. Patient safety event can demolish the trust of the organization and even the system. How we handle such events also from unilateral pathway will deprive healthcare system from precious patient & family insights. Service recorvery to regain the patient trust while resolving 2nd victime issues is 3rd crucial point to consider. #patient #experience or may I say #people experience.

As an advocate for safer healthcare practices, I've seen firsthand how the experiences of both patients and caregivers intertwine. Typically, we analyze situations from one perspective or the other, but this dual perspective demands better attention. As we commemorate Patient Experience week, it's a poignant reminder to bridge this divide, to honor the voices of both patients and caregivers in our pursuit of safer, more compassionate care.
