The Highlands At Wyomissing’s Post

What an exciting day yesterday as we hosted WWII veterans and served as a staging station for WWII jeeps and trucks gathered before the start of the annual Wyomissing Parade! Residents had the wonderful opportunity to greet the veterans and thank them for their service. Among the 50+ veterans participating, four of our own veterans rode in the parade: Betty O’Connell, Milton (Rip) Ripple, Norman Wilikovsky, and Paul Lilienthal, who proudly served as the Grand Marshal. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and to all the brave men and women who have served, allowing us to celebrate Independence Day!
