Opening a second location might seem exciting, especially for gym owners, but it's crucial to consider the day-to-day reality. If your first location isn't generating €40-€50k in revenue, don't rush into a second one. Focus on making your first location self-sufficient and invest in systems and a capable team. Don’t undo all the hard work you’ve done to get your gym here in the first place. Expanding prematurely can tie you down and divert attention from your primary location.

To be candid, I have mixed feelings about small gyms at apartment complexes. I think if you have a 'small gym' its probably not worth it, cuz they feel musty and small. But if you can provide a medium-large sized gym, then they're a great amenity for prospective residents. I mean, if you walked onto a new property to check out if you want to rent there, you wouldn't MIND having a great gym, right? That being said, I don't see gyms at most apartments full of people on any occasion. So I don't think its a 'must have.' What do you think?
