Employment searching for my next leap for my career due to company lay offs. Single Family Property Management is my niche, although I do know Multifamily, Data entry, Client Service, CSR, Resident Retention, Customer Retention and Care, Operations support as well. I am completely open to switching things up this year, maybe it was my calling???? But I am very eager to find out what lies ahead. I’ve refrained from posting this because truly it just causes more work for me 😂 I’m tagging my team as well so they see responses. FOR REAL ESTATE AGENTS- I have MULTIPLE ADMIN that have lost their positions all over the Country in the last two months that are looking. Here’s the deal- they’re talent and they’ve worked for great leaders who just couldn’t keep their numbers up. So, they’re not looking to work for someone that won’t lead them well in their next step so they’re being picky. Salaries range from $55k to $100k. FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS- admin that help real estate professionals are top of the line workers and could do and learn anything! Depending on what State you’re in they could be in person. I chuckle at the egg-on-face irony of companies that say they're "data-driven" in job descriptions yet inevitably can't seem to locate salary data for the job opening. 🤔 I'm unsure if it's FOMO (on potential candidates) or an old-school, "we'll bluff our way to the finish line and see if this sucker will take less than their worth!" — but it doesn't work. Not in the long run. The best talent knows what they're worth, and the quality talent won't stay once they know they're undervalued. "Staffing you ship" with sub-par talent, sub-par engagement, and sub-par management will impact your company far more than the would-be savings of bringing people aboard at a lower cost. Gone are the days when salaries were opaque, and no one knew what a job should offer. Glassdoor, Salary.com, and a bazillion other sites now tell exactly what other folks are making for similar work. Dear data-driven employer, your would-be-hire knows more about the role and salary ranges than you pretend to know. Don't play "data-driven dumb." We're all looking at the same info. The labor market is huge; wide-net tactics aren't prudent. Narrow the scope and bring in the right people. Let your published salary range allow you to be choosy in the process.
