At the Envista Smile Project, our mission is to bring dental care to those around the world who need it most. We recently partnered with the Vietnam Health Clinic, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to health care for underprivileged communities in Vietnam. During this mission trip, more than 800 patients were given free dental treatment, including cleanings, fillings, exams, and extractions. In addition to the treatment, patients were educated on maintaining healthy dental hygiene and received a care package that included rice, a blanket, and a mosquito net.

Today for Menopause Awareness Day we are stopping to talk about wealth health. In our 2020 research, good health was women’s number one definition of wealth and success. Too often as women, we will focus on caring for everyone else, but ourselves. We wanted to tag some organisations and encourage you to tag below any charities, communities, products, apps or companies that are changing the way women view their wealth and health! #pausetotalk #Worldmenopauseday Newson Health Limited, Newson Health Menopause Society, EKHO wellbeing , Boost Innovations, GLORIAH, Hertility, Echelon Healthcare

Did you know that purchasing a birthing simulator from Laerdal equips your team with state-of-the-art tools and directly aids healthcare professionals worldwide? 🌍 Every time a Laerdal birthing simulator is bought, we donate another to support the Helping Mothers Survive initiative. This initiative aims to elevate maternal and newborn care in areas where such resources are rare, yet desperately needed. As we continue our journey into 2024, let's celebrate the 6900 simulators that have already been strategically distributed to over 40 countries, and the countless lives they've touched. Connecting the Central New York Community by bringing people together to address childhood hunger. Inspiring them to share their talents and resources to impact children's lives for a better, more successful future!
Encouraging advocacy efforts and initiatives that support heart health is important to me. In particular, I strongly believe in promoting equitable access to healthcare services and resources, regardless of socio-economic status or background. For example, as a board the entire Erins Angels team believes that the health of a stranger is just as important as that of our own loved ones. This belief transfers to this campaign as well. Cardiovascular disease is the number 1 killer of women, and when I found out that only 39% of women received CPR from bystanders compared to 45% of men it shows the bias in the recognition of symptoms and the urgency of response simply based on gender. Stereotypes about women's perceived "frailty" or the misconception that heart attacks predominantly affect men can contribute to a delayed response, and I want to highlight the urgent need for equity focused interventions. By improving access to education and resources we can work towards a more equitable system where all individuals receive timely and appropriate care during medical emergencies. Please help me with this important initiative by donating now: https://lnkd.in/eASySdcW
