This can apply to virtually any Wikipedia If my education is lacking, how can I tell if what I read there is true? And if my education is solid, still there’s no way fo me to know everything So, to a certain extent, I have to trust Wiki But what if that info is biased, misleading? Aren’t we told to question everything?
As any historian or social scientist will tell you, the truth has always been a contested concept.
unfrtunately it is so true.. and i must admit Rusia is not the only one guilty of that. The war of narratives is destroying every bit of the real and accurate truth. and i wish i knew what to do to fix that..
This also applies to the current “American” Wikipedia. John Stossel had a great segment on this and how far-left activists monitor the edits very closely. https://youtu.be/kiRgJYMw6YA?si=wP9fUw8DLl6eYWWh
There can only be one Wikipedia , the one from the authors. All other tweaked versions should be clearly marked by the original publisher as a FAKE
Sounds like when US right-wingers made a “Conservapedia” to compete against Wikipedia with their delusions

2wThe same can be said of all wikipedias. The English one is no exception. Just take a look at the “talk” pages on any remotely controversial topic.
