The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Post

Distressing challenges and losses typically impact us physically, emotionally, socially, mentally, and spiritually. President Russell M. Nelson said: “I urge you to take steps to be temporally prepared. But I am even more concerned about your spiritual and emotional preparation” (“Embrace the Future with Faith,” general conference, Oct. 2020). Building your emotional resilience is one way to prepare for the challenges you will face in life. Support will come from every true disciple of Christ. No matter where you are, if a faithful member and follower of Christ is near, we can find help. It os important that we are capable of making ourselves emotional resilient, for that, we count with many resources that are found in the truth church of Jesus Christ. As we learn from this programs and apply what is advise we can become much stronger. Thank you for sharing this!!!

Support won't come from your local Ward, Branch, Stake, District, Mission or Area Presidency. I can attest to that!

One of the best ways we are capable of is being spiritually prepared. This requires cultivating and consistently maintaining spiritual disciplines. It has helped me realize how resilient my faith is when I'm faced with difficult times.

I was recently a hostess/cashier at Nauvoo Café. I am seeking part-time position in customer service or hospitality industry that does not require a lot of lifting or working on a computer. I am willing to learn though.
