Huge thank you to #ChangeTheFace and the invitation to join leaders from other organisations to discuss the importance of neurodiversity and also inclusion for all. The discussion was wide ranging but it was exciting and humbling at the same time. With a desire for leaders to collaborate in a way to share insights covering both systemic and behavioural change, where accessibility and adjustments must be consciously made to enable talent to contribute their best in a way that works for them. A huge part of my job at Korn Ferry is to ensure the focus of DE&I is embedded as part of the enitire employee lifecycle. I like to think of this in 5 phases, discovery, attraction, retention, progression and promotion all underpinned by data, assessment of outcomes and how people truly experience an organisation, the role of leaders and together the impact on performance, happiness and belonging. I don’t have all the answers but feel blessed to work at Korn Ferry where at the heart of all we do is focused on helping our clients maximise the effectiveness of all their peoole and thus the organisation’s overall performance. Together we truly have the ability to ensure that in society we can help every one in a place of work, to #bemorethan. ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together’. Have a great weekend.

In 2022 Willhouse Global invited HR and diversity directors to take the Culture of Belonging Organizational Self-Assessment™. Respondents from companies across diverse industries completed this assessment & the results helped us map an organization's DEI Maturity Model. We assessed each organization against the seven pillars of belonging & learned exactly what areas of an organization need the most support. The result of this assessment collection & collation of data revealed insights on Creating a Culture of Belonging, and we’re sharing the top three most valuable takeaways. (Along with opportunities for you to take action.) We'd love to share this white paper with you. https://lnkd.in/geVx36rj Want to know how your organization stacks up? Why is Diversity Important as a leader and in the workplace? Diversity in the workplace and leadership is crucial because it values uniqueness and encourages the inclusion of people from different backgrounds, cultures, genders, and races. However, it's also important to create a sense of belonging where each team member feels accepted for who they are. To achieve this, organizations can adopt a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) approach that facilitates conversations on DIBs, promotes hiring and retention of diverse talent, listens to employees, and integrates DIBs into the employee lifecycle. Managers and senior leaders can take special tips on embedding DIBs in the employee experience. I strongly recommend all leaders focus on creating an excellent diversity culture for their team, which can lead to a more productive and harmonious workplace.
