WHAT IS EARLY CHILD EDUCATION ? At its most basic level, early childhood education (ECE) encompasses all forms of education, both formal and informal. Early childhood education ages cover birth through age eight. This education is fundamental to the development of a child. It can significantly shape the later years of an individual’s life. Digging deeper, there are several different facets that all combine to contribute to a child’s early education. In terms of informal education, the primary source of input when it comes to a child’s development is, of course, its relationship with its parents or primary caregivers. In essence, parents can be considered to be a child’s first teacher. This relationship is critical especially between 0-4 years of age as the child begins to develop its sense of self and establishes an attachment with its parents. The quality of the attachment formed at this stage of life can have a significant impact on a child’s future education. Therefore this is a wake up call to every parent/guild giver to develop and prepare themselves effectively in other to impact greatly on our next generation kids. we all have a role to play in this. Let us not lose the battle even before the fight begins. #unicef #SDG4 #MinistyOfEducaton #ministyOfWomenAffairs

https://lnkd.in/gGQZCJuy The Colson Center recently covered some laughably, flagrantly ignorant article on homsechooling from left-wing media. Laughable and ignorant because it worries about homeschooling lacking academic standards. Actually, *every* year since early 1980s, *standardized* testing has shown that homeschoolers outperform public school students - significantly. In fact, here in Texas, the government school has moved away from standardized tests (e.g. Iowa Basic Skills) but homeschoolers continue to use them. Of course, everyone knows that private schools have a higher academic performance -- even tho they accept students who have been expelled elsewhere, and even tho they *more often* have fewer dollars per student. Then, Breakpoint bring up the fact there are some people in our society who have a hard time on their own to provide private education to their children. Right. (About 1/3 of the population are in single parent families.) So, if you are a school who wants to expand your offering I can offer some consulting: www. orgstrat. net . If you are an individual or church who wants to start a preschool, micro-school, or school : Please let me help you https://lnkd.in/g6gWi46 .
