Incentive travel has always been an incredible motivator, and now we have compelling evidence to reaffirm it: Participant inSITEs by SITE Foundation. The report highlights a remarkable finding: "𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯" 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘴. As #eventprofs, we've long understood the power of captivating destinations to inspire and motivate qualifiers. The allure of exploring new landscapes, immersing in diverse cultures, and indulging in unique experiences cannot be overstated. Yet, amidst this revelation, it's crucial for companies to recognize regional differences and understand how to identify destinations that genuinely "wow" qualifiers. As our world becomes more interconnected, incentive attendees hail from diverse backgrounds, each with their own dreams and aspirations. Therefore, to truly elevate the incentive travel experience, we must become masters of destination curation. This involves meticulous research, collaboration with experts, and a deep understanding of regional nuances. By aligning destinations with qualifiers' desires, you can create experiences that resonate on a personal level. Ever stopped to wonder what truly sets the stage for unforgettable incentive travel experiences? Imagine this: the true driving force behind incentive travel programs is none other than the allure of the right "destination," as reported by the SITE Foundation's latest Participant inSITEs report. For those of us who live and breathe events, it's no secret that enchanting destinations hold the key to sparking inspiration and pushing qualifiers toward greatness. Travel is a underrated as a tool for growth and development. People who immerse themselves in new realities change. Sometimes without realising it themselves. I would go even further and say that travel is a necessity for staying relevant, in the polarised times of today. As Pico Iyer wrote, ““We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again — to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.” https://lnkd.in/dzwGksc3 #leadership #learning #change #development #growth

There’s often a fine line when it comes to the role of service providers “educating” their customers, especially when their tone changes. In my 4th article for Total Croatia News, I look at sensibility and how it is normal to receive feedback as a customer. The themes to reflect on here are: ➡️ is it appropriate to “educate” customers? ➡️ how is it delivered? ➡️ is it a matter of being more or less tolerant? Thanks Paul Bradbury for putting on this series 🙏 #serviceculture #customerservice #leadership #croatia #businessbook #allin https://lnkd.in/eVx2qRpS
