As we say farewell to 2023, here's a recap of what we have achieved so far and our upcoming roadmap: 1. Pre registration for Toyland Defense is now at more than 30,000 players in the Google Play Store, in about 2.5 weeks. 2. Most of these players are from India and Philippines, showing strong interest in the game. (We only opened up to 12 countries so far, more to come later!) 3. We will be enrolling these registered users to our limited public Beta in Q1 2024. 4. Barring any issues, we will be doing a global launch by end of Q1 or early Q2 2024. 5. Our tokens and NFTs will be launched after. We will be updating on how the TGE will be structures, follow to know more! 6. Also, if you want to join the limited public Beta, please DM me your email (associated with your Google Play account) and I will add you to the list. Have a wonderful, blessed and Happy New Year!

For veterans who choose to become drivers, the transition from the armed forces to trucking can be a challenging one. However, the trucking industry can be a place of opportunity, support, and growth for veterans, provided employers are willing to open doors and extend a welcome to them. Through education, support, and understanding, employers can create an industry where veterans thrive and their unique skills and experiences are celebrated. To learn more about how employers can help veterans transition to a career in trucking, we spoke with David Pike, Director of Recruiting for NFI who shared his story of life as a military veteran and ways he’s found support within the trucking industry. ➡️ Read more at: https://hubs.li/Q0295gNT0

According to a study from Oregon State University, two-thirds of veterans face significant hurdles as they transition to civilian life. Many grapple with unemployment, health issues, and the immense task of figuring out what comes next. These challenges are where we, together, can make a significant impact. The trucking industry, known for its structured environment similar to military life, offers a promising career path for many veterans. Being a truck driver still comes with challenges, such as long stretches away from family, loneliness, unhealthy diets, and lack of exercise. Our chaplains are here to support driving professionals and their families so that they experience better outcomes mentally, physically, and spiritually. By supporting TFC Global, you join us in providing the resources our veterans need to thrive in the civilian trucking industry. https://bit.ly/3RMyeYG

Regional Operations Manager | CMgr | IEng | Delivering No-Fail National Projects on Time on Budget | Transitioning Head of Operations
1 week of JLR military Workplacement done! Here are 3 quick takeaways after my first week. 1️⃣ It's not any different then the military environment! Granted, we don't walk around with rank and everyone talks in acronyms. But it isn't different, everyone is working to set goals, pushing through sprints and trying to communicate across departments to ensure synergy. 2️⃣ The planning tools, structures and delivery are no different then military process (different names though). I had worried my planning structures would be old fashioned, but it is not the case. 3️⃣ 2 ears 1 mouth. Listen twice as much as you talk. Take in detail from everyone, ask questions and then ask more questions. If you are heading into a similar workplacement, make the most of it and reach out if you'd like some advice.

A sturdy draw is essential for a strong bow, while a lengthy bow is necessary for a long arrow. Throughout history, successful heroes understood key factors, assessed the situation, and focused on the bigger picture. This principle also applies to trucks. To ensure optimal speed, performance, and stability of a truck, 10% relies on the driver's skills, with the remaining 90% depending on the safety performance of the tires. ROADWAY tires, proven effective through extensive testing, stand out as the top choice for drivers. Just as in military strategy where targeting the horse precedes the soldier and capturing the leader precedes the thieves, selecting ROADWAY tires King is key to road domination.

🌟 Let's Talk Heroes! 🌟 Lately, we have been wondering if the word 'hero' is used too often, or just right? 🤔 Hero is a label given for both small acts and huge bravery. Can its frequent use water down its meaning? 🌊? Should the word “Hero” be used to sell things?💪 Context is Key - It's all about the situation. Is someone a hero for doing their job, or does it take an extraordinary act? At the 870 Tactical Supply Company we believe actions speak louder than words. Price and availability go a long way in supporting heroics. It is not only the right thing to do, but it is also the right way. What do you think? Is 'hero' just a word, or a title earned through exceptional deeds? Share your thoughts! 🌟 Come down and check us out to see what we mean. Marketing Specialist | SVA President of Purdue Northwest | Army Veteran | Major in Business Management: Entrepreneurial | Minor in Marketing
Everyone says “new year, new me”, but once February hits most people usually let go of their motivation in completing their new year goals. Actually make a change this year. At the beginning of 2023 I didn’t have any motivation to do much but go to school and finish my degree, just like any other veteran in college. Now I have a highly motivated and determined team with me operating Purdue University Northwest Student Veterans of America chapter. This is because I set goals and motivated myself to help the people around me find that drive to succeed. You got to set realistic goals for the new year. Give yourself small goals that you can complete in a timely manner, this way you can stay determined and see the progress first hand. These small goals should go with your bigger goals. For example, I want to lose 50 pounds this year. Start with setting smaller goals of losing 5 pounds a month, and keep working at it until you hit that 50 pound mark. Create a vision board or something that you are tracking your goals with. Visually see your accomplishments, and keep coming back to them ever so often. In the military we are taught fake motivation is still motivation. Get involved, make some change, and impact someone’s life this year. #newyear2024 #veterans #veteransuccess #veteransupport
