"If we are going to see real development in the world, then our best investment is women." Last Thursday, The Brussels Binder and the Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the EU joined forces to hold an International Women’s Day reception to connect incredible women professionals in Brussels! Pieter Jan Kleiweg de Zwaan, Dutch Ambassador to the EU, shared his commitment to feminism, stressing its centrality in Dutch foreign policy. Echoing the worlds of Desmond Tutu, Brussels Binder President Dr Audrey-Flore Ngomsik called for inclusive societies where progress for women means progress for all. Only 39.3% of MEPs are women. Only 33% of senior managers at the Commission are women. Only 35% of Heads of Units at the Commission are women. Despite progress, we still have work to do. So sign our manifesto and commit to more inclusive policy discussions ✏ https://lnkd.in/e9gvAH79 🌟No more excuses -  it’s time to invest in women🌟
