Happy 10th Anniversary to Downtown Kitchen! We are honored to partner with the team at the U.S. Bank Center to have Downtown Kitchen as the go-to gathering place for breakfast, lunch, meetings, and more for ten years. Thank you to all those that work in the tower and surrounding office buildings for your support and for allowing DK to be part of your weekday for the past decade. We look forward to the next 10 years!

At The Bartolotta Restaurants, we know so many of our employees are working to achieve their own goals and we are so proud that we get to be a part of each of their journeys. Last week, our owner and co-founder, Chef Paul Bartolotta was honored with the Joe Bartolotta Hospitality Award at VISIT Milwaukee's annual meeting. The award goes to an individual in the hospitality industry who has demonstrated exemplary commitment and passion for Milwaukee and its residents through initiatives that uplift the community, a precedent that Joe set and one we strive to continually meet in his honor. It was truly a joy to gather in celebration of Milwaukee’s growth over this past year at the Annual Meeting. Thank you, Visit Milwaukee, for the honor and recognition.

Today, as we mark the 5th anniversary of Joe Bartolotta's passing, our hearts are filled with memories of his boundless energy, infectious laughter, and unwavering commitment to family and community. Joe's presence is felt in everything that we do at The Bartolotta Restaurants; in every dish served, and in every guest welcomed to the “Bartolotta Table” with warmth in our “hospitality hearts.” Though he may no longer be here with us, Joe’s spirit lives on through the legacy started more than 30 years ago when Paul and Joe opened Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 and began the journey that became The Bartolotta Restaurants. We believe that he would be incredibly proud to see all of our accomplishments and how we continue to grow–from the upcoming opening of The Commodore–A Bartolotta Restaurant to the RNC and Milwaukee’s spotlight on the new season of Bravo’s Top Chef. Joe was fond of saying “but what if we could?” when dreaming about the future and challenging others to open their minds to the possibilities of what could be. Never has this saying been more relevant as Milwaukee welcomes well-deserved international recognition.
