Texas A&M's Department of Atmospheric Sciences has partnered with Climavision to install the new radar to redefine how students, faculty, and the community study and respond to weather patterns. The new radar will replace the Aggie Doppler Radar (ARAD) which has played a crucial role in supporting the National Weather Service and monitoring the weather across Texas for several decades. tx.ag/WeatherRadar

We are honored to partner with the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, as well as the Emergency Management Department! We look forward to the great impact our radar data will have on public safety, student learning, and research!

I can remember taking Radar Met with the old analog radar back when I was in grad school. Dr Huebner was absolutely outstanding!
