Been a fun weekend digging into GPT tools and use cases and getting the fingers dirty again into code. A timely reminder of my Software Engineering background and the reasons I chose this career path in the first place. Some cool proof- point applications I tried: - GPT over my CSV data. cool to be able to ask English questions over my own CSV data files - GPT over text data sets. What exactly is the importance of Marc having what he calls "great dialogue" with Sam Altman? There can't possibly be implications for my future skillset as a Salesforce professional. In fact these conversations change the future course of your applicable Salesforce skills!!! 🤯 How so? Sam is leading OpenAI. OpenAI is developing market leading functionality or features for engaging with AI. Now you can upload images in ChatGPT to "ask more of AI". You can bet that this type of functionality will be brought to the Einstein1 Platform for Salesforce. You will have the ability to use images in your prompts. Prompt engineering will now include images which brings an entirely new depth to the skills needed for Copilot Studio. It's time you dig deeper into AI topics for Salesforce! In the latest iDialogue Flow CPQ+AI release, transactions are divided into guided chat prompts and Auto-Launched flows. This is the traditional Model-View-Controller (MVC) development pattern many developers are familiar with, where the “View” is implemented as a GPT AI Agent and the Controller is an auto-launched flow that handles validation and record INSERT. This division of responsibility aligns well with the job functions of Business Analyst (BA) and Salesforce Developer; where the BA defines product bundles and add-ons using natural language expressions that are passed to Flows for more deterministic validation and record handling. This implementation is far faster because the BA's requirements and specifications are immediately executable "code" that offers real-time feedback.

MosaicML acquisition by Databricks for a whopping Billion Dollars is the biggest news for this year! But why it's so important? It is a starting point for the expansion of the in-house LLM building market. Organizations of all sizes have realized the power of LLMs thanks to massive popularity of OpenAI's ChatGPT. All of them want to implement it too. However, sooner or later they all will realize that using API might not be best option and they all look for solutions to build their own llms customized on their own data without any data security concerns. And then they will look out for a stack like MosaicML. It will create a need for small and medium-scale data curation, labeling, and output evaluation work. And thus data engines like Labellerr. We're upping the game with new-age UI/UX needed for data annotation and evaluation tasks for fine-tuning LLMs. This space is going to be more exciting in the coming days.
