Can we not use a term which demonstrates the true value of these skills? ‘Soft Skills’ does not reflect their importance. Professional Skills, Leadership Skills, Essential Skills, People Skills - there are numerous options which could be used. These skills are anything but ‘soft’.

It would be interesting to see a few examples of how folk have answered these, and more importantly, how does each interviewer evaluate the quality of the response. For example, "How did you deal with a difficult team member?" Lots of possible answers, but I guess we would need an outcome along with a value statement.
