Congratulations to the TerraPower team on their bold steps to push our Nuclear Generation Industry forward. Their regulatory submissions and physical groundbreaking are signs that the future is near. Excited for what’s next…
Ground was broken for the construction of what exactly without Early Site Permit and Limited Works Authorization?
Please let’s not have any Three Mile Island type of incidents to stop this wonderful, nascent path to non-fossil fuel power! I was a new engineer for BECHTEL in 1978 when the new U.S. nuc power contracts just went away :-(. Just think how much more diminished global warming would be with the 20 or 30 - 1100 mgwt facilities cleanly powering the economy! Now full speed ahead!
Congratulations I need a job now please

1moAmazing strides towards the first SMR and, hopefully, the first commercial and successful reactors to use molten salt tech. While some other SMR projects are using brownfield sites, this is on a relatively empty site and will demonstrate how to get things done. This is the future of powering AI and data centres for the digitisation and progress of the world.
