My sessions are: - Build an API Management Portal in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Using APEX [HOL2511]: Create an API Management Portal using APEX. APIs from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure API Gateway, Oracle Integration, and Cloud native applications using virtual machines and Kubernetes. Any API type, REST and SOAP, ... And Git Integration links APIs to Git repositories where the source code is managed. (Build with the help of Phil Wilkins) - Make It Searchable: AI-Enabled Information Retrieval [HOL2491]: Upload documents to object storage, extract text and insights using AI Services (Image, Text, Audio, Video recognition, Document Understanding, Binary file Word/Excel/PDF/... + AI custom models), and add this information to an OpenSearch index. The result is that users can search their document stored in Object Storage in a Google like search interface. (Co-delivered with Marek Krátký and Wes Prichard).

NEWS: Over the last few months, I’ve had the pleasure of setting up a new organization within Oracle’s Global Licensing and Advisory Services business unit. Our new organization is focused on Digital Transformation Consulting, and will operate across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and North America. I’m hoping to meet a number of customers at the upcoming Oracle Cloud World - and introduce our consultative approach. As a quick overview: - We’ll be working closely with Oracle’s large enterprise customers – including organizations with some of the world’s most complex IT environments - Our role is to provide consultative services on managing their Oracle investments - The consultative services help bridge the gap between on-premises installed base & cloud solutions, including Oracle pure and hybrid Cloud SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS options - Our approach includes helping customers build a full picture of their Oracle environment, and then advising them to invest with a focus on providing increased flexibility, efficiency, and control through a full suite of Oracle solutions So for now, I just wanted to say that I’m very excited to be working in a new way with our customers, and how great it has been to welcome a stellar team of consultants into the new organization.
