September 11, 2001, stands as a solemn reminder of a day that changed the course of history. On that fateful day, the World Trade Center in New York City bore witness to one of the most devastating acts of terrorism the world has ever seen. As we reflect upon this somber anniversary, we are reminded of the profound loss and the enduring pain experienced by countless individuals and families who lost loved ones. The tragedy of 9/11 left an indelible mark on our collective consciousness, and its impact is felt to this day. But amidst the darkness and destruction, we also witnessed incredible acts of bravery and unity. First responders rushed toward danger, displaying unwavering courage in the face of unimaginable adversity. September 11, 2001, serves as a stark reminder that we must always cherish the values of freedom, and peace. As we honor the memory of the victims and heroes of 9/11, let us rededicate ourselves to building a world where such acts of terror are never repeated.

The more we know about the goals of these international agencies/entities (UN, NATO, WEF, WHO…) the better political decisions we can make when electing who will represent us. We, Americans should not be governed by entities that we didn’t elected for!

This morning I started my team's weekly Leaders Huddle by listening. I asked the senior leadership in my organization to share the biggest lesson they learned from the tragic events of 9/11. Many shared about where they were when the events unfolded that day. Others were too young, so they shared about the memories that older relatives passed along to them. On the aggregate, the message was about coming together in the face of tragedy and repurposing the priorities in life. The sickening feeling of the gut-punch from that day must never be forgotten. I will honor the men and women that selflessly and bravely raced towards the disaster. The helpers. For me, September 11, 2001 set in motion my mission to be a 'helper' and empower each person I work with to be the best version of themself. There's many ways we can better support each other. Please help me learn from you. How did 9/11 change your trajectory? How do you make the many sacrifices from that day (and the years that followed) truly count? How can I help you? #leadershipcoaching #neverforget #businessandleadership
🇺🇸 Honoring the Memory of 9/11 Today, we solemnly remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. As the U.S. Military Academy, we stand united in solemn reflection, paying tribute to the lives lost and the heroes who emerged from the ashes of that fateful day. On this anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to the values of Duty, Honor, and Country. May we never forget the resilience and unity that arose from that dark moment in history, and may we honor the selfless sacrifices made by those who rushed into danger, embodying the true spirit of service to our nation. #NeverForget #Honor911 #DutyHonorCountry US Army | GoArmy

https://lnkd.in/g6bpZP9 The WEATHERAmerica Newsletter is online! 1) If you thought that Texas was bad for miserable heat, the Sonoran ridge will expand and merge with the Bermuda High starting next weekend. That means everyone in the USA outside of the Pacific Northwest and New England will be in for 5 to 6 days of very hot weather! 2) The Atlantic Basin is largely devoid of anything resembling a tropical cyclone. That condition may linger for a while, due to latitude-suppressed ITCZ, lots of Saharan heat and dust and upper westerlies that control the left side of this tropical theater. 3) Watch closely, however, the increasingly active Pacific Basin. The eastern side of this theater has increased tropical cyclone potential, while the Madden-Julian Oscillation and Asian monsoon will boost the already juiced polar jet stream and aid in heat advection across the lower 48 states. 4) Be very concerned about threats for severe weather in the near term from the northern Rocky Mountains south and east into the Atlantic Coastal Plain. A derecho may form in the Missouri Valley and eventually affect the Mid-Atlantic and the Carolinas by Tuesday afternoon.

The Missing Middle Many firefighters realized it: Tactics on the fireground are different between Europe and the US. Instead of just critisizing or blindly copying things we have to realize that there are some reasons for that. Yes - tradition, tools and training lead to a different tactic. But also our experience in the buildings we go to - our built environment! I am involved in different international discussions right now about stairway protection - mainly for buildings with midrise size. And this video explains why we in Europe are more interested in this topic compared to our fire fighter friends in the US. https://lnkd.in/e5dtsu4S
