The statement is superb. The picture shows a lot of thought but needs revised, please. The leader is shown alone, with their supposed followers are all in their fixed positions. A more dynamic picture (e.g., hosting a party, or coaching a team with other position coaches also shown) might be in order. Something to get across how a leader makes themselves redundant so that the group eventually runs itself and develops a collaborative culture. It's a lot to ask of one picture though! :-)

100% agree! It destroys morale and stalls productivity when a " leader" creates an environment of separation and fear.

Wow, our country sure could use a good leader right about now and show an example for everybody else. My thoughts go to district administrators and school boards need to work more in leader ship roles with parents and not against parents. A good leader in any setting will do well for everyone not just themselves. Look forward to 2022 and things should be better

So true! The "divide and conquer" strategy is toxic and leads to higher absenteeism, lower productivity and lower staff morale.

I absolutely agree and I have been in the business 42 years. I realized early on the only way to to be successful and have a thriving business is to create unity among your fellow workers and your pears. And after being in the business 42 years I still find companies out there that don't understand this. In my opinion they still got a lot to learn.

I do not agree with the statement. Natural collaboration does not need "the leader" but it rather needs a positive work environment where positions are distributed according to qualifications not loyalty to "the leader" The modern leader never leads. He or she provides environment, tools, channels, chances for every individual equally. The rest comes naturally.

People who create separation have never been real leaders. They have always been insecure, egotistical buffoons.
