Top 100 Most Influential People in Events, Top 50 Most influential Event Professionals, Top 50 in US & Canada. Smart Meetings Hall of Fame, BizBash 15 over 50, Smart Meetings Entrepreneur Founder of Event Minds Matter
Most people who know me, know that I have identical twin daughters. In Toronto my daughter Hailey is the owner of The Idea Hunter. But very few know Brittany O'Bright or what she does. Britt moved to Miami 2 years ago and was promoted to Senior Shopper Marketing manager overseeing Grey Goose vodka and Bombay Gin and she has never looked back. She LOVES her job. Now how many times do we hear that these days? But this is not a story about Brittany, it's a story about Bacardi and why she loves it. Just announced, Bacardi is #18 on the World's Best Places to Work 2023. “More than 9,000 people make up the Bacardi global workforce and at work they are referred to as Primos, not employees. Primos, which means cousins in Spanish, is a nod to the Latin heritage and family business that is part of the company’s DNA. The Bacardi portfolio comprises more than 200 brands and labels, including some of the most iconic names in the industry such as Bacardi rum, Patron tequila, Grey Goose vodka, and many more. “This accolade follows other recent workplace recognitions for Bacardi, including: Forbes 2023 World’s Top Companies for Women Best Workplaces in Europe Best Workplaces in Latin America & the Caribbean and Great Place to Work® certification at 50 Bacardi sites “Great Place To Work is the only company culture award in the world that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on their ability to create a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of employee identity or job role.” “Being a global employer comes with immense responsibility to people and to the planet,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “These extraordinary companies are having an incredible impact, supporting their people, and fighting for a fairer, safer, and healthier communities around the globe. When you empower people to work with purpose, they reward you with innovation and performance — and help create a better world for all of us.” “The Fortune World’s Best Workplaces list is highly competitive." Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they were already a Great Place To Work Certified organization.” I guess this means I will have to keep visiting Miami? And I am all for that. #bestcompanytoworkfor #culturematters #teamculture #workabroad

Hiya Steve here from Anthem Engagement👋 It’s my job to help the senior team to build a work environment in which people can be brilliant, by pinpointing the truth about what it’s like to work there. My team do this by running bespoke listening groups and surveys to find out what’s really going on and measure three things: how people feel, what they think and what they do. What do you do for your Company?

Two years ago, Pierre Bellon passed away. He was 92 years old. This is not particularly young, and yet he accomplished so much that if still feels incredible to me that he could do it all in one single lifetime. When the news of his passing came out, I received a wave of e-mails and letters from all over the world. Current and former employees, partners and friends of Sodexo, and countless people who had come across him left heart-warming messages on the virtual book we’d opened. When I leaf through them, I’m still struck by the consistency of these messages: whether they spent an hour or a lifetime with him, people were unfailingly impressed by the same traits. Pierre Bellon was unanimously recognized as a visionary entrepreneur, who saw the potential of the service sector very early on. He was a humanist, who was convinced at heart that companies had a crucial social role to play, and who fought for a fairer society. He was a free spirit, who was never afraid of taking risks and never thought twice about speaking his mind – however senior his interlocutor! He was passionate about management, human development, and the development of companies. Many highlight his pioneering spirit – in the 1960s, at a time when virtually no-one talked about “company mission”, he gave a ground-breaking one to Sodexo: “to improve the quality of life of our employees and those we serve, and contribute to the economic, social and environmental progress in the communities where we operate.” It is still fully relevant today, as are the 3 values he defined for the company: team spirit, service spirit, and spirit of progress. When I visit our teams today, whether in the US or in India, in Brazil or in the UK & Ireland, I am always amazed to see how consistently they embody these values. As the Chairwoman and CEO of a family company, and as his daughter, it is my responsibility to ensure that we retain these strong fundamentals. They form the bedrock on which we are building a bright future for Sodexo. #Tribute #WeareSodexo #Sodexo

Strategic HR Leadership: Cultivating Culture, Empowering People, and Driving Change with Agile Certification | #soyEJECON
#Christmas time is coming! This time of year allows us to reflect on many things, and one of these things are the values that define us as a company, and I need to point out the value, four of our six values: integrity, passion, inclusion, and teamwork. At #RWG these aren’t just words; they’re the foundation of everything we do. ✨ #Integrity: Upholding honesty and transparency in all our endeavors, ensuring trust and respect among colleagues and partners. 🔥 #Passion: Fostering a culture where dedication and enthusiasm drive us to achieve our goals and exceed expectations. 🌍 #Inclusion: Celebrating diversity and creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. 🤝 #Teamwork: Embracing collaboration, recognizing that our collective strengths and unity are the key to our success. As we celebrate the holiday season, let’s continue to embody these values, not just during this festive time, but every day as we work together toward our common goals. Happy holidays! 🎉🎄✨ #robertwaltersgroup

Marketing Strategist | Content Creator | Digital Marketer | Startup Support Enthusiast | Fitness Junkie (in progress)
What a night it was! Last week, I had the pleasure of joining my amazing colleagues at our company's 50th Anniversary Staff Awards Gala. The event was nothing short of spectacular, as everyone came dressed to impress, radiating elegance and charm. It was heartwarming to see the camaraderie and sense of pride as we celebrated half a century of achievements and growth together. Amidst all the festivities, there was a subtle reminder that resonated deeply with me. As professionals, we all strive for excellence and work tirelessly to achieve our goals. And while compensation is important, the genuine appreciation for our efforts is truly invaluable. Managers, remember that recognizing and acknowledging your team's excellent work is like adding fuel to their motivation. It inspires them to do even more, go above and beyond, and create a positive impact on the organization and their own professional growth. So, let's not forget the power of a simple "thank you" or words of appreciation. Let's foster a culture of recognition and support where everyone feels valued and recognized for the dedication they bring to the table. Together, we can continue to achieve great things and pave the way for an even brighter future! #CompanyAnniversary #GalaCelebration #RecognitionMatters #Appreciation #Teamwork #ProfessionalGrowth

🌟 Celebrating Success: The Power of Internal Recognition in Business🌟 As we approach the end of the year, it's a time of reflection and celebration for our achievements. This year has been remarkable for our businesses, and it's crucial to acknowledge that our success is not just a result of strategies and plans, but the hard work and dedication of our amazing teams. Propoly LegalforLandlords In line with this at our recent attendance at The Neg Awards, I've been pondering the true value of awards and recognition in the business world. Often, we see companies chasing industry accolades, which, while significant, can sometimes overshadow the importance of internal recognition. 🎉 Every Small Win Counts 🎉 Celebrating every milestone, no matter how small, is key to creating a positive and motivating work environment. As we gear up for our annual Christmas party and staff awards in Jan it's not just about the festivities but recognising the efforts and achievements of our teams. These moments are more than just a celebration; they're an investment in our company culture and the well-being of our team. 👥 Putting Employees First 👥 Sir Richard Branson once said, "Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients." This philosophy resonates deeply with our values. By showing empathy and genuinely caring for our staff, we're not only nurturing a happier workforce but also enhancing customer satisfaction. As we set our sights on the new year and lay out our goals, let's remember the importance of internal recognition. It's these moments of appreciation and acknowledgment that fuel our team's passion and drive. Here's to a fantastic year so far (23 working days left) and an even brighter one ahead! Let's continue to celebrate our wins, support each other, and achieve together. Ray Kyrson & Margaret Longden (Noir Edition) 📸 #TeamAppreciation #BusinessCulture #EmployeeRecognition #SuccessTogether
