This was a Lego assembly line event at Toyota Material Handling that really showcased the power of Toyota Lean Management. During a LEAN manufacturing training session, we went from 13/30 forklifts completed with 17 defect and losing money, to 29/30 forklifts completed with 3 defects and making a strong profit. We did this by applying what we learned during our 3 day training event. All by reviewing and changing our process as a team. These principles can be applied to any process, and all processes can be improved.
