Each year in July, the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) meets to follow up on and review the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Today we have 375 peer-reviewed journals across medicine, health, and pharmaceutical science, covering specialist areas of practice from surgery to substance misuse. We sat down with four people who work at Taylor & Francis – including Head of Publication Development Jonathan Patience, Senior Editor Kelly Ann Soldavin, Journal of Current Medical Economics Executive Editor Mike Gregg, and Current Medical Research & Opinion Executive Editor Mithi Ahmed-Richards – to ask them what they do in their day-to-day work as publishers to support the medical communications community.
