Just coming down from the adrenaline that powered me through last week's Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. What a whirlwind! I loved seeing how sports was a central theme of the festival, both in terms of the discussions and panels over the course of the week as well as being represented in so much of the work on display. Just a few of the personal highlights: 💃 Connecting with incredible women at the The Female Quotient Equality Lounge to discuss how our brands are authentically connecting with audiences and driving conversations globally alongside Kellyn Smith Kenny, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, AT&T , Inc., Maggie Schmerin, Chief Advertising Officer, United Airlines, Jess Spaulding, Chief Marketing Officer, PepsiCo Foods Canada, and Heather Hopkins Freeland, Chief Brand Officer, Adobe. 🏥 Highlighting the importance of mental health and the work we’ve been doing with the Ad Council on the cross league initiative in support of the "Love, Your Mind" campaign to change the narrative around one of the most important issues today at Stagwell Sport Beach with Heidi Arthur, Chief Campaign Development Officer, the Ad Council, Tim Ellis CMO, National Football League (NFL), Brandon Marshall , Senior Director of Retention & Brand, (USTA) United States Tennis Association. 🌎 Discussing how we tailor our campaigns for a global audience and tap into technology and innovation to reach fans globally at Influential Beach presented by Brand Innovators with Shachar Scott, VP Marketing Reality Labs, Meta and Chris Detert, CCO, Influential.  ⭐ Spending time at the IPG Mediabrands Best of Brands Showcase for an in-depth look at the work rising to the top. Partnerships with sports in a differentiated manner, tapping into in-depth insights and translating to creativity, applying AI for utility and creating value for good were among some of the key takeways. 🏅 Being honored as one of Forbes’ World Most Influential CMOs and winning the first-ever TikTok Influential Sheesh Award, both of which is a reflection of the incredible work across the entire marketing organization and league-wide efforts. 💛 Connecting with and supporting members of the various communities that helped make the Cannes world feel like a smaller place. Special shoutout to the Forbes CMO Women’s network and Gold House family. Loved reuniting with old friends and colleagues and making so many new connections. 🙌 Thanks to all the amazing partners who hosted fantastic events to connect at and cheers to all of this year’s Cannes Lions winners! #canneslions2024
