We are happy to welcome Shane McEntire, MD, to TMH Physician Partners – Services by Southern Medical Group! ⚕️ Dr. McEntire specializes in vascular surgery and looks forward to helping SMG build a robust vascular surgery service line. Dr. McEntire received his bachelor's degree in biology from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps of the US Army, going on to eventually become a medical platoon leader. Dr. McEntire attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and went on to complete a general surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He also completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. After 24 years of service, Dr. McEntire retired from the US Army as a Colonel. 🎉 As he was planning his future career after retirement from the army, Dr. McEntire was made aware of SMG looking to start a vascular surgery service line. After much research, he believed it would be a good fit! In his free time, Dr. McEntire enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters — including going on vacations and roller skating. He also spends much time at the gym exercising and trying to stay healthy. Please join us in welcoming Dr. McEntire! 👋 👋 👋

I help doctors build profitable 7 and 7+ figures businesses. Founder of EBS, the #1 business school for physician entrepreneurs. INC 5000 company
There are a million of us #physicians! 🚀If we don’t like our experience in #medicine, we can change it. 🚀If we don’t like the state of #healthcare, we can change it. We need to stop waiting for “them”, there is not them. We need to stop waiting for the cavalry. The cavalry is not coming. It is here, it is us!!!!!! We change everything by: ✨ Becoming an example of what is possible. ✨ Showing others the way. ✨ Amplify the voices of those who are doing this. Don’t accept the current state as what will always be. Golden days are coming for physicians. All hands are needed on deck. Can I count on yours? If I can, type “yes” in the comments and tag another physician you want to inspire to do the same. #physicians #entremd #businessofmedicine
