T3 Expo feels good about the Class of 2024! The Events Industry Council reports that event planning is one of the fastest-growing career paths, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects that employment in the field of meeting, convention, and event planning will grow by 18% from 2022 to 2032, much faster than the average for all occupations. We might be biased, but this is one of the best industries to be in. Here are our top four reasons why. #classof2024 #eventsindustry #careers #tradeshows #eventcareers #jobgrowth #newgraduates

Why are online events still popular? And why do I talk about it? Online events have become a global phenomenon, breaking down geographical barriers and inviting participants from every corner of the world 🌍 No need for costly travel arrangements or accommodation hassles – connection to the internet is all you need to have. That means that the potential audience is much broader than the one of in-person events since the reach expands well beyond any geographical boundaries. In 2022 our online events were attended by more than 70 thousand people! But you know what’s even more impressive? In 2023 it was almost 90 000 people! 😲 Our own events at Europe Language Jobs are growing as we grow! More and more candidates are willing to subscribe to receive educational resources and job offers and attend organized by us webinars. Why? Online events are easy to attend, can reach people all over, are cheaper to organize, and offer a variety of formats. They often have recorded content and on-demand access so you can watch the events again later. Our 4 virtual events are tailored to meet your specific needs and candidates’ expectations, providing a variety of opportunities to attract multilingual professionals to your team.🧑💻🌍 And there's a special deal valid until the end of January. 📌 If you're interested in more details, feel free to contact me #internationalrecruitment #events #onlineevents #internationalevents

"Voyage voyage" 🚄 As I sit on the train en route to the Global Industrie fair in Paris, I'm reminded of the importance of efficient preparation to maximise success when visiting different trade fairs on a tight schedule. Here's my ultimate pre-trip quick guide: 1️⃣ Do Your Research: Dive deep into the list of exhibitors and their products as well as floor maps beforehand in order to prioritise your targets and to maximise your time at the fair. 2️⃣ Set Clear Goals: Define the purpose of your visit to the fair – whether it's networking, acquiring new leads, or exploring partnerships. 3️⃣ Schedule Smartly: Map out your days with a flexible yet structured schedule. Don't forget to leave room for unexpected opportunities like spontaneous invitations. Also plan some downtime to recharge, reflect or jot notes. 4️⃣ Stay Informed: Keep tabs on event updates, conferences, and guest speakers. Attend sessions relevant to your industry for insights and inspiration. 5️⃣ Pack Essentials: Besides those classic (but still crucial) business cards and brochures, pack essentials like chargers to stay connected, versatile outfits for every weather condition, comfortable shoes (trust me, you'll thank me later) and an optimistic attitude! 6️⃣ Network Strategically: Strike up conversations, ask questions, and listen actively. Focus on building genuine relationships rather than collecting business cards like Pokémon cards. Remember, it's quality over quantity! 7️⃣ Follow Up, Follow Through: Post-fair, follow up swiftly with contacts made. Personalise your messages, and nurture relationships beyond the event. That's when you get to feel the real magic of success! 🪄 Last but not least, remember that trade fairs aren't just about collecting swag – they are about making meaningful connections and seizing new opportunities. 💼🤝 Do you have any other tips and tricks, which I didn't mention? What is your go-to strategy for making the most out of trade fair visits? I'd love to hear your insights! 🤔💬

I train international students to land 6-figure jobs @ Orbit 5 Inc | Software Developer @ RBC | AWS | Pega | Java | Camunda | C# | Machine Learning | Artificial Intelligence | Scrum Master
What gives me fulfillment the most is putting smiles on the faces of international students by helping them land their dream jobs. I have helped over 500+ international students and they all have one problem in common. Here are the steps you can use to avoid that pitfall- if you are still an international student: So- these students were smart because they passed their programs with flying colors but what they missed was fostering the relationships that would get a job when they were done with programs. If you don’t want to work in a factory when you are done with your program I urge you to follow these steps and you sure to get results. Foster online relationships: Target the accounts online where you want your future to be. Connect with at least 10 of these accounts every week. Don’t just follow and like their post, if you do that you are still living in shadows online instead, work up the courage and actively engage with them in their DMs and on their posts. By doing this, you prove yourself to be a valuable asset and with that, they will add you to their connection Build physical relationships: You may not get the connection needed by just shooting DMs. You need to meet people outside the bubble of the internet. Get to see how natural they are away from their comfort zone and also score their connection from there. To get the most out of physical relationships, you must go to quality events. You can only find quality people at this kind of event. To find quality events is as simple as ABC nowadays. - Go on Eventbrite - Find a quality physical event in your niche - Attend the event So- I and my team have designed a quality event of this nature. We are hosting over 900+ legends in one room. Helping them improve their communication ability and build their network. Also, we have 50+ professionals will be there to help you. Lastly, we want to give 100 tickets. Get your free tickets now: https://lnkd.in/gN9XnSU6 #Orbit5 #InternationalStudents #JobSearch #FutureMakers

TAtech North America: Conference Value You Can Measure A conference is only as good as the value it provides to its attendees. So, here’s what one attendee said about his TAtech conference experience: "TAtech conducts must-attend events--I have never missed even one! The partnerships that I've been able to build from the connections I have met over the years would be easily valued in the multiples of millions of dollars!” Joe Stubblebine, CRO Lensa How is that value produced? • First, TAtech conferences are focused on the bottom-line success of job boards and talent technology companies. They’re not HR events with a little TA thrown in as a sop, but rather conferences that are all TA from start to finish. • And second, TAtech conferences are designed for decision-makers – company CEOs and senior execs – and their rising stars. They’re not events where you get talked at for days-on-end, but instead conferences that actively promote strategic networking and deal making. So, if you’re in the TA solutions business, if your goal is faster growth and greater profitability for your company, then TAtech conferences are events you must not miss. And the next TAtech conference is TAtech North America & The World Job Board Forum. It will be held at The International SPY Museum in Washington, D.C. on June 4-6. Seating is extremely limited at this iconic venue, so register right now to make sure you have a spot. Get the value you deserve, attend TAtech North America & The World Job Board Forum! https://lnkd.in/e2W-Ntpt

Assistant Manager - Careers and Employment. Experienced Careers Consultant, Manager, Team Leader, Employment Broker and Relationship Manager. Winner NZAGE Best Careers Service Professional 2021
🤔 “To expo, or not to expo?”: that is the question. 🤔 As we wind down another year of graduate recruitment, our attention inevitably turns to the 2024/25 cycle, and we start to question the ‘old ways’ whilst looking forward to innovative ways of connecting with students. ⁉ But should we do an expo, or a workshop, or a presentation, or all the above?! ⁉ My first piece of advice is to reach out to the employer relations contact at any and all of the universities that house your audience. Post-covid, engaging with the students ‘where they live’ is more important than ever, so find out whom you need to speak to and you can get bespoke advice about which activity, or activities, will suit your needs best here: https://lnkd.in/gDpDZtkV It might be that you have a very strong brand, and you feel that you just need to get in front of the students who are interested, to give a sense of the application process, or for grads to share their experiences on your programmes, or maybe to illustrate how your offering differs from your peers. You may want to deliver a value-add workshop helping students understand how to deliver elevator-pitches, or effectively network. Or it might be that you feel your brand is lesser known, or misunderstood by students and you hope to bust a few myths. Whatever your engagement, it is useful to think about the subtle differences between the types of interactions that these various venues often yield. On-campus Presentations or Workshops are a great opportunity to preach to the choir. I say this very positively, as it is a chance to really dig into specifics and forge direct relationships with students who have enough of an understanding of your offering to ‘decide’ to book in. Of course, there are things we can, and (successfully) do, to promote your session to students who may not have made that connection, and I suggest you speak to your friendly neighbourhood Uni employer relationships professional (see above) about this. Careers Expos are a wonderful opportunity to preach to the UNconverted. You can really ‘get out from behind the trestle table’ and challenge their understanding of the nature of your work and the culture of your organisation, and how it connects to their areas of study. For the nearly (gulp!) twenty years I have worked in the Careers field I have heard voices question the value of Careers Expos, but I have to say: THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE TO GETTING A WHOLE BUNCH OF PEOPLE TOGETHER AND SEEING WHAT HAPPENS. I very frequently have employers come in to meet students who tell me that they got their current role from having a yarn at an expo. Post-covid we have embraced many new ways of working: webinars, new media, Tik-Tok, generative AI; the list goes on. But these two ‘classics for a reason’ still continue to resonate, and deployed well, and often in tandem, are an evergreen way to preach to the converted, and the Unconverted. #careers #engagement
