I’m not a recruiter but I think that the sad reality is actually the opposite. Most applicants are tired of getting the email that says “We regret to inform you”😔

the lead time nowadays is long.. offers may come in the interim. Or worse, they take the job and then get the offer they really wanted shortly after.
