When I decided to start doing my Friday weekly R.E.P.O.R.T, it was a decision I made to create regular content. Over the last three weeks though, I've found joy in the thoughtfulness and reflection that it gives me week over week. So here's this week's R.E.P.O.R.T.: (R) - Recruitment Insights: "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail." - I had a lot of phone calls this week with applicants who didn't come prepared for our phone call. While I don't expect you to know everything, doing research and coming prepared with questions shows a level of interest in a company that leaves a good impression! Not sure what the point of a recruiter phone screen is or what kind of questions to ask? Check out this guide: https://bit.ly/3PO7t4W. ๐Ÿ”— (E) - Experiences: Had 5 offers go out this week ๐Ÿฅฒ๐Ÿ’œ Let this be a sign that there are companies hiring right now, regardless of what you're reading on LinkedIn. Ellucian is one of them! #ApplyToday ๐Ÿ’ป (P) - Personal Milestones: I introduced The Female Subjective after years of telling myself I was going to make it happen. 36 women in our virtual book club and we're meeting for the first time next week ๐Ÿ“š (O) - Open Doors: Physically opening a door to conversation with TFS... I want to plan a virtual coffee hour for an early morning one of these days for networking and support through this job market. I can't get everyone a job and I don't have all the answers, but I'd love to hear your story and see how I can support you! Feel free to PM me if you'd be interested, ladies! โ˜•๏ธ (R) - Reflective Thoughts: Sometimes I get embarrassed to post on LinkedIn. I'm always worried that people think I'm doing "too much" or that I'm trying "too hard." & then I remember that even if I only ever help one person through what I have to share... it's all worth it. ๐Ÿ˜Š (T) - Team Acknowledgments: Bill Blackford, Melissa Morgan, Preeya Voss...I've been waiting all week to give you three a shout out. Thank you for the way you care about people. I feel so grateful to work with ya'll. #EllucianLife (Bonus picture this week because it's one that has brought me so much JOY. I can't believe how lucky I am that this is my life ๐Ÿ’œ)

So much value in all of this post. The emergency person in me also reiterates, " failing to prepare is preparing to fail". If you can't invest in the future why should we invest. No matter where you are or what you do ...... You have no choice but to own the future. How are you going to tackle and embrace upcoming challenges?

You're the best! And the kiddo snuggles make all the hard work worth it at the end of the day. Enjoy your weekend.
