Please enter your event through the aircraft stairs on your right ✈️ Swissport was honored to provide aircraft stairs for an “AIR” themed event at the BFM, Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, in #Geneva.
Our teams prepared the stairs, typically used for #passengerhandling on flights, transported them through the city center early in the morning, and set them up in front of the building to allow guests to ascend.
A true 𝐚𝐢𝐫catcher for a unique event 🌟

Informative guidelines on fatigue reporting by IFALPA...
It has been my experience that flight crews understand and are concerned about the schedule disruption for their crew and passengers along with the increased costs to the airline and harm to its reputation with the impacted customers for fatigue delays.
Pilots in general are reluctant to use the fatigue call and approach its use in a professional manner.
Assessing fatigue risk should be a proactive threat exercise by an operator recognizing the on duty time, length of duty, weather, and operational delays that can affect the performance of their flight crews.
It is important for any airline to let their pilots know that they are not to be operating flights while impaired by fatigue, (from the CEO downward and especially their Chief Pilot), that there can be circumstances that occur outside the control of the crewmember, and the reason for post incident reporting is to understand, not criticize, or affect the crewmembers employment or reputation.
Early communication, if possible, for a fatigue call will allow the airline or operator to adjust hopefully with minimal impact to the customers, however let's leave the report writing until after sufficient recovery rest is completed and the crewmember declares they are fit for duty.
Reporting is crucial to manage “fatigue”!
Please review the IFALPA ‘s “Fatigue Reporting Guidance BRIEFING LEAFLET 22HUPBL01” so that you can determine “specific circumstances when flight crew should report fatigue”
