New York, Palo Alto, Chicago, Singapore, Potsdam - The office doors open like magic! Accessing our offices around the world has never been easier, it is as simple as paying for your coffee with Apple Pay. 1.5 years ago, I’ve asked a simple question to my teams: Why can’t we all access our office building with our mobile phones? As a result, SAP’s Global Security, IT, and the SAP Mobile Experience team started the project to add a digital version of the SAP access badge into Apple Wallet. Multiple facilities in the U.S., Singapore, as well as an additional reader here in Potsdam have been enabled to test this experience. It’s so simple and works phenomenal: there’s no need to unlock your device, you just need to hold your iPhone or Apple Watch to the card reader and get in. What currently still is a testing program for dedicated colleagues and few locations, is soon going to be a reality - just add +1 to this post 😊 Thomas Saueressig, Florian Heretsch, Dr. Benjamin Blau, Christian Freytag, Oliver Gutzeit, Lisa Brown, John W.
