Innovation is inevitable. We've seen it before and will see it again. Now it's time to evolve away from fossil fuels especially when it is more expensive, less efficient, and literally stains everything it touches. Some obvious examples of historical innovation that shaped infrastructure would be: -Horse pulled buggy moves to efficient combustion engine cars which evolves into more efficient electric vehicles. -Candle light to lightbulb. -Film to digital cameras. -Land line to cell phones. In my opinion, innovation usually happens when something becomes a triple or quadruple threat. For example, renewables are officially cheaper than fossil fuels, more efficient, carbon neutralizing aka clean, and look way better. What a time to be alive.

Building alliances is a career game-changer. I had the opportunity to talk to Victoria Whittaker about my approach to forming alliances at work, why I started Work with Ashley R., AND my obsession with 90 Day Fiancé on her Giving You Everything podcast. Here's a few highlights from the pod: Why I dedicate some of my time to working with Managers & Directors: “From my own previous experiences and knowing how hard it is to get support as a manager, senior manager, director, [and] senior director, I love working with clients that are in the manager-director level to help them demystify how to be successful at work.” My advice for budding entrepreneurs and professionals: “Don't make the mistake of trusting that your hard work will speak for itself. You have to play the game. You have to make alliances. You have to find champions.
