Laurence Holt and Jacob Klein have done it AGAIN: an updated Map of Generative AI in Education. What I love about this map is that it not only highlights the hot spots but also exposes the gaps / white space where there is still so much opportunity for entrepreneurs! Where are YOU seeing the biggest gaps and opportunities for AI x education? Claire, Tony, Matt, Guido, Martin, Anne, Justine, Brett, Brighteye Ventures, HolonIQ, Matthew, Katelyn, Alex https://lnkd.in/gNevkMgF #ai #aiineducation #edtech Edtech Insiders
Great to see to teach ( 👀 Felix Weiß) on the map, but definitely missing Qizify Learning (LearnSlice) ( 👀 Alesia Kunts) and Studymaniac ( 👀 Jannis Conen) on the list!
Fascinating, thanks Ben Kornell and Laurence Holt For those who want to know about tools and/or are building in this space Jin-Soo Huh Katie Boody Adorno Merlin Valdez Henry Hipps Brett Roer Grace Cruz Chris Timmis
Wisdolia on the map 👀
This is awesome, Laurence Holt! Thanks for mentioning AutoMark. And thanks for sharing, Ben Kornell.
nice list. would be great to see "classroom orchestration" or have Merlyn for Education tagged on "freeing teacher time"
Love this! Sandro Olivieri, you may find this interesting too!
Students need specific classes in AI in high school. They are being taught web design when schools are still pre-occupied with locking down AI so they don’t cheat. They shouldn’t cheat but it’s so much more than that.
Excited to see paras starting to show up on landscape maps.

5moIt's gratifying to see that each use case begins with a user need or problem before jumping to a solution. Perhaps a productive next step would be a user journey mapping the time and effort needed for a teacher to discover research, learn, and master all these partial solutions in local context. Is it realistic to assume that the outcomes envisioned are possible by "letting 1000 flowers bloom" and placing the onus on individual educators. Or would the "moonshot" product development model of multiple teams contributing to a single product ecosystem better serve the needs outlined?
