2 meetings down, 1 to go! 🌟 Here's a short synopsis of the first 2. Meeting #1 shed light on the importance of accountability from vendors. A construction company (100 ees) faced numerous errors with paychecks and benefits for employees, along with delayed responses from their PEO provider. Addressing mistakes and taking ownership is key for both individuals and companies in serving clients effectively. Mistakes happen and that is recognized. Taking ownership and ensuring those mistakes aren't repeated is what also needs to take place. In Meeting #2, a company (65 ees) felt undervalued by their current PEO provider. Despite seeking assistance with HR compliance and payroll, the COO expressed frustration over unmet expectations, including the delay in receiving $800K in ERTC. The question arises: Is it worthwhile to stay with a service provider that falls short on delivery? Looking forward to Meeting #3 with a food & beverage company (40 ees) aiming to boost HR operational efficiency. The HR Manager is eager to explore new vendor options to cut costs. Most people on linkedin are purchasing something. I think it can often be forgotten how important it is to maintain great relationships with your vendors..... Many companies talk about the trusted partner vendor model, but few live it. Here are some of my favourite contractual clause requests from procurement and supply chain departments purchasing recruitment or workforce management services. I absolutely love this sort of business! 1, I'm looking for a volume discount.....⏬ 2, Refusing to do this on a prorata basis, and insisting that the discount is applied from the first worker....👷♂️ 3, Proceeding to onboard 4 workers globally over a 2 year period.....🥃 4, Requesting a rebate on said spend....🫴 5, Rebate is to be based on total spend of course! 💸 6, Total spend is circa 90+% employee wages, )which have worked exclusively for them)..... 🤏 7, We would like a 10% rebate on total spend! 🤔 8, Which brings us on to payment terms.....🕒 9, Can we pay in 120 days (No understanding of interest rates, the impact of late payments, or the fact that again 90+% of the invoice is salary costs for workers that have worked exclusively for them).😫 10, Oh and if they work for more than 90 days we should be able to take them for free....🎁 Sounds fantastic! Where do I sign ?!?
