Executive AI, Data, & Technology Leader: Generative AI, ML, Data, & IT Strategy, Architecture, and Execution
A new report by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and The Burning Glass Institute explores the impact of Generative AI on various professions in the American workforce. I encourage you to read the white paper; it is quite insightful. However, I take issue with the finding that management will be largely unaffected by these changes. I believe this is a gross underestimation of the potential disruption that Generative AI will have on management. After all, if there are fewer workers to manage, then there will be fewer managers needed. Indeed, Generative AI can probably make some management decisions streamlined and more effective as well. I invite you to share your thoughts, maybe I’m wrong. Regardless, I highly recommend reading the white paper. https://lnkd.in/ey246w5E
