As a fully remote company, our team loves to get together whenever we can. Last week, most of our Kentucky crew gathered at Don Jockey in Midway for an evening of catching up and fun. They topped off the night with delicious Spotz Gelato to celebrate Summit's 11th birthday! - #remoteworklife #digitalmarketingagency #SEM #SEO #PPC #teambonding #searchmarketing #digitalstrategy #SEOexperts #ecommerceSEO #mobileadvertising

Reliable. Hard-working. Responsible. Remind you of anyone? If you thought of Suzanne Sanchez or Hollye Williams, you’re correct! These are hallmark traits of the Enneagram 6, otherwise known as the “loyalists.” Enneagram 6s crave support and stability above all else and are motivated by faithful, consistent relationships. As their name suggests, 6s are unwavering in their loyalty (sometimes to a fault), and thrive in environments where they feel stable and secure. One of the greatest strengths the 6 possesses is their ability to figure things out. They are problem-solvers by nature, and are typically equipped with plans A, B, and C (if not more!). Their keen attention to detail allows them not only to identify problems but to promptly come up with solutions for them. If you’re lucky enough to work with an Enneagram 6, you know they are won't-take-no-for-an-answer individuals with a work ethic that won’t quit. Because they’re able (and motivated) to take on so much, it’s not unusual for the loyalist to try and carry things on their own. Now that we’ve covered how incredible the 6 is, let’s brag for a moment about Summit’s 6 chicks! As our Director of Marketing, Suzanne's status as an Enneagram 6 is evident in her work. Her attention to detail has helped her develop clear, organized processes that help our clients and team succeed. Plus, Suzanne’s loyalty translates seamlessly into each and every client relationship we have here at Summit. Our other Enneagram 6, Hollye, is equally loyal to our clients and team, working around the clock to ensure success. Her hard work has never gone unnoticed, and the support she offers as a Marketing Assistant to Suzanne and Korbin is invaluable. Around here, Hollye is known for her determination and attention to detail in everything she does. Do you work with any Enneagram 6s? Share with your favorite loyalist or leave a comment below!

How has it only been one year with Hollye Williams?! In the past 365 days, Hollye has become an invaluable member of our team. So much so, it's hard to imagine our team without her! She does a lot, but if we had to sum up her contributions and talents into one phrase, we'd say: Hollye gets the job DONE. What's your favorite thing about working with Hollye?

Known for their unwavering focus and insatiable thirst for knowledge, Enneagram 5s are an asset to every team. At their core, the Enneagram 5 is driven by a deep desire to understand the world around them. It makes sense then, that the 5 is known as the "Investigator" or "Observer"! In short, 5s wield the double-edged sword of curiosity and competency. As you can imagine, 5s tend to thrive at work, especially in environments that foster independence. These creative yet analytical individuals are wired to enjoy problem-solving, performing best in roles that give them the space they need to explore and innovate. Often introverted people, it’s easy for 5s to put their noses to the grindstone and work, detached from personal thoughts and emotions. Pro tip: don’t even try to interfere with a 5’s workflow when they’re in the zone! Their ability to lock in and get things done is just one of the many perks of having a 5 on your team. So, how can you help 5s thrive? Micromanagement is sure to stifle the creativity of a 5 (and many other enneagrams), so an open, collaborative work environment is key to a 5’s success. Encourage 5s you know to set boundaries – not only with coworkers but with themselves as well. The spiral into a knowledge rabbit hole can be surprisingly easy, (remember that double-edged sword we mentioned?) so knowing when to pull yourself out and turn information into action is a crucial growth opportunity for all 5s. At Summit, Paloma is our favorite (okay, only) 5 on the team! With her expertise in design AND development, the title of “Investigator” feels just right. As our Junior Designer, Paloma balances client deliverables and UX/UI wireframes to create stunning, user-friendly deliverables for our clients and internal team. One might say Paloma’s status as a 5 was written in the stars – or maybe in HTML code 😉 We’re lucky to have such an innovative, solutions-driven person on our team! Have a 5 in mind? Share with your coworkers or let us know in the comments! #Enneagram5 #EnneagramAtWork
