Here are three easy relationship building tips for #biglaw associates I have learned over my 22 years at DLA Piper 1. Introduce yourself to the managing partner of your office and/or practice group if you haven’t already. If you have, find another partner, of counsel or more senior associate you have not met and learn something from them. 2. Follow up with a friend from law school and see how their legal journey is going. One day some of them will be your clients if you stick around long enough. 3. Reach out to a client or potential client and schedule a coffee or lunch meeting. Repeat weekly until you have no more colleagues, friends or clients to reach out to😎 Always be building relationships! #mentoring #relationshipbuilding
