This year’s WTS International Annual Conference in New Orleans brought together women representing every facet of #transportation where they discussed topics that stand to shape the next decade of #infrastructure like zero emissions, AI and digital technology. Big wheel keep on turning, proud Mary keeps on… boring! 🎵 This Mary is a 46-foot tunnel boring machine that is playing a key part in the $3.9 billion Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) project, the largest #infrastructure program in Virginia history. Mary completed the first new tunnel at the HRBT’s North Island, marking a major achievement for the project which is widening nearly 10 miles of the I-64 corridor. 🚘 On behalf of Virginia Department of Transportation, STV, in joint venture, is performing quality assurance oversight of the bored section of the HRBT program. The most complex #infrastructure project in the U.S. received a major boost yesterday: Governor Kathy Hochul, Senator Chuck Schumer and leaders from all levels of government joined the Gateway Development Commission (GDC) to announce more than $6.8 billion in funding for the Hudson River Tunnel Project. Our CEO, Gregory Kelly, in his role as chair of the New York Building Congress, was present to celebrate this significant milestone. 🌟 The project will create two new tunnels under the Hudson River and improve the existing tunnels. STV has been a long-standing partner for Gateway, providing, in joint venture, preliminary engineering design and currently serving as the designer-of-record. Carlo Scissura, president & CEO of the Building Congress, highlighted the monumental impact of this project, stating, "Today’s funding announcement is an incredible moment for New York. This once-in-a-lifetime project will improve the lives of countless Americans along the Eastern Seaboard, spurring $20 billion in economic activity and creating 95,000 good-paying jobs." This announcement represents a major step forward for #infrastructure and economic growth in the New York metropolitan area and for the entire northeast corridor. 🗽

We are proud to take on a historic project in the City of Franklin, Tennessee! STV will serve as owner’s project manager for the city’s new 115,000-square-foot City Hall, supporting the project from start to finish and ensuring it’s on time and within budget. STV’s JJ Roohms spoke at the welcome reception to celebrate TC Broadnax as he embarks on his new journey as #Austin City Manager. J.J. was joined by Luis Delgado CCM, PMP and other local infrastructure experts from STV’s 12 Texas offices at the event, where he spoke about the growth of the Greater Austin region and highlighted opportunities it presents for the local community. We are proud to have led the final design of the northern section of the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) project, a new highway in Central Pennsylvania connecting the network between Maryland and New York. We worked with our partners to minimize the potential excavation of acid-bearing rock near the river. The result? Reducing potential impacts by 80%. STV’s Barbara Hoehne spoke to Aileen Cho at Engineering News-Record about how we helped deliver the project’s 4,545-foot bridge that’s transforming travel for thousands of vehicles daily, easing congestion and enhancing regional connectivity. 🚗 “This project completes a missing link,” Barbara shared. "For us, whether we're the sub or the prime, engaging with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and other agencies—this has been on the books and minds for decades." What do the #Olympics and zero-emission technology have in common? California! We’re at the forefront of California's push towards sustainable #transit solutions, driven by California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) mandate to transition all bus transit vehicles to zero-emission technology by 2040. At the 6th Annual Infraday California, we showcased our contributions to projects like Los Angeles Metro's zero-emissions bus program and the Purple Line Extension for the 2028 Olympics. These efforts are pivotal in transforming L.A. into a model for green urban mobility. ♻ Eugene J.
