Shine bright like a diamond! 💎 These words couldn’t be more authentic when talking about Amazon’s Jewelry category. Yesterday we talked about the gated categories in the marketplace but the jewelry category deserves more in-depth discussion. Let’s look at some of them. 💎 General requirements -> As I mentioned yesterday, your products have to be sold and characterized on your Product Detail Page’s description, images, and specifications. -> All your products must meet Amazon’s Jewelry Quality Assurance Standards. There is detailed information about Gold, Silver, and Platinium and their stampings. More for them you can read in your Seller Central account. -> Your items have to be properly set up according to the platform’s Categorisation of Fine vs. Fashion Jewelry guidelines. -> Also, as we discussed yesterday, your products have to be authentic. Trademark is a MUST! -> If you put a price for your products over $300 000, you won’t be allowed to list them. 💎 Sellers requirements -> You have to be a professional Seller. If you are not at this time, you must do it once you get approval for your application. It’s mandatory to keep this plan while you offer jewelry products on Amazon. -> You also have to meet some performance criteria such as 1/ Order-Defect Rate of 1% or less, 2/ Cancellation Rate of 2.5% or less, and 3 /Late Shipment Rate of 4% or less. 💎 Product quality requirements -> All products must be new. Selling pre-owned vintage or antique jewelry is not allowed, too. -> As mentioned above, all products must follow Amazon’s Jewelry Quality Assurance Standards. You also have to fit in the Federal Trading Commission guidelines about the materials' specifications. -> You have to ensure you provide quality control and inspection procedures. -> All products must meet North American product safety standards. In Seller Central, you can also read more about your listing and item data requirements. Selling Jewelry on Amazon takes more time to start, but it is worth it if you are not a sprint runner. I would be happy to hear if you sell in this category and what is your experience. Do you meet a lot of struggles? Share your thoughts below! #amazonproduct #amazonsales #amazoncategory

Hi Friends! Mother's Day is right around the corner, and if you want to be the favorite child/spouse/whatever, we have an absolute screaming deal on some 14k jewelry closeouts right now. I've realized that eCommerce brands are the worst. From "transparent" pricing, to fake reviews, they make honest companies (aka me, a fool apparently) struggle to establish credibility. Blame Amazon! But anyone who knows me knows I'm no shenaniganizer. These clearance deals for 14kt jewelry are actually insane for the quality we have. Anywho, hope you're all well. Take a peek if you're looking for some jewelry for a loving momma. P.S. if you've come this far: leave reviews on products if they make you happy. It's the tipping of online shopping. #jewelry #ecommerce #gemstonejewelry #mothersday #mothersdaygifts

‘The Complete Guide to Effective Jewelry Display’ This is the fourteenth installment of a twenty two part series to highlight the secret sauce of this book written by Larry Johnson. It’s a summary to help me stay sharp and share ideas that might be helpful to you. I use direct quotes for clarity. Section 15, Countertops and Floor Displays These type of units have merit in the right situation. Several things should be considered when planning their use. 1. Merchandise selection: these cases are wonderful for browsing and comparing styles for gifts or self purchase. When merchandise is placed in boxes delivery is efficient which makes the store easy to shop. 2. Placement: use the countertop display in such a way that it allows the merchandise below to be seen. When near the check out area, the merchandise inside should be an impulse buy. 3. Style: Most countertop and floor units are designed in one of four basic configurations: boxed goods, padded, goods, carded goods, or loose goods. The boxes keep the merchandise organized and neat and when sold the box goes right along with the merchandise. Padded goods; stud earrings work well here; fit snuggly in the vacuum formed receptacles that hold them vertically. Carded goods are inexpensive and sold in mass merchandise fashion. Loose goods, make sure to fill the empty spaces when you use this type of countertop display. 4. Features: insist on a ball bearing turntable to support the display so it is easy to turn. Insist on quality locks and to prevent the entire display from being stolen consider a security cable. The display must be at a height that can easily be seen by most people. Keep in mind that the premier selling spot in a countertop or floor display is the top 1/3 of the unit. Place what you prefer to sell in those spots.

Preparing Individuals, Families and Small Businesses for any type of transition, including loss, crisis, or disaster.
Don't overlook the small things! One of my team members had an eye-opening moment this morning. She realized that, while remembering big-ticket items like art and furniture might be challenging enough, it's the little things that often slip our minds in a total loss scenario. Clothes, shoes, accessories... you name it! These seemingly insignificant items can quickly add up. The average person spends $164 a month on clothes alone. That adds up to a lot of money over a couple years. Imagine the cost of replacing your entire wardrobe from scratch! It's easy to lose track of these everyday essentials. That's why taking stock of them matters more than you think. Here's a handy inventory tip: Instead of cataloging every tiny item, focus on counting the totals. How many shirts? Slacks? Pairs of shoes? You get the idea. You can also take photos of the clothing hanging inside the closet and of the pairs of shoes, etc., without physically counting the items. It’ll take less than 30 seconds per photo! And don't forget to keep a list of the brands you often purchase—this can help estimate their value accurately. By keeping tabs on the quantities and brands, you'll have a clearer picture of what you own and its overall value. The next time you're taking inventory, don't forget to pay attention to the small things—they could make a big difference in the long run! #Pinventory #BrandNames #clothing #accessories #shoes #inventory #SmallThingsMatter #FinancialPreparedness #InventoryTip #DontForgetTheDetails

How were January Markets for your gift/apparel/accessories business? For me, good news/bad news. Extreme winter weather caused travel delays and canceled appts -continuing an overall trend of low traffic at trade shows; But buyers who showed up in person were ready to make decisions & place orders! So what now after another show with disappointing attendance? We're following up old school with buyers that couldn't make it & making sure our wholesale site & platforms are READY. *Bonus Observation* A competitive advantage to being an established brand is that your customers know the quality of your product without the need to see it in person. Building trust in your brand quality and customer service is key!
SPRING HAS SPRUNG on bandedwholesale.com! Our 2024 Color Theory collection features new colorful packaging designs, gorgeous monochrome color packs and eco-friendly materials. New items are IN STOCK and ship in 48hrs! We’re not gonna lie, January market was tough with SO MUCH WINTER WEATHER! ❄️ But buyers were buying and sellers were selling and people still style their hair EVERY SINGLE DAY. “You’ve got life. We’ve got your hair.” 😉 #banded2gether #hairaccessories #womanownedsmallbusiness

Do you believe that the ring you purchase in a display case is the only ring that's produced by that jewelry store chain ? They may have one in that store but believe me they're mass produced by the hundreds if not thousands. now you're spending thousands of dollars on something that everyone else has. Would you rather spend the same amount of money on something custom ? #customjewelry #customring #customjewelrydesign
