The first 4,000 ManiLife printed were printed here… Prontaprint. East Sheen. UTTERLY PREPOSTEROUS When you've spent the best part of 6 months picking at the corner of a sharp edged label cut out (a la 90s, noughties premier league sticker book 👀 )...the efficiencies from printing labels on (and peeling them off 😎 ) a reel are genuinely mindblowing. I remember that feeling. It was mind-blowing. Those Prontaprint labels may have taken 10x as long to sticker... They may have cost 12x as much to print (the first 100 came in at c 95p per label)... BUT ☝ you could write the roasted on date on them in Bic biro and every two weeks I'd head back to East Sheen , say hi to Raj and he'd tell me to keep going! (Which, despite what it may appear, was, I believe, genuinely heartfelt and not a thirst for label £££). And it did, genuinely, keep me going. So much brand juice comes from the things that seemed smart(ish?) at the time and appear utterly absurd in hindsight. This is a pretty good example of one... If you're in East Sheen and need ANYTHING printing (apart from maybe labels) go see Raj hashtag #throwback
I can make labels for you. It is easier for you to stick them on, no cutting required.
Big fan of stories like these. Hand labelling my Mitch’s kitchen meals was always the worst job 🤣
Impressivly compact 11kg tub in that last photo👀 😂
Wow ….
We did a very similar thing Stu
I love these stories of early days effort to get things going and growing
I love this story and I love your branding on your labels
It's all part of the learning journey right!?

1wAbsolutely love this and it's amazing how much joy can come from the "do things that don't scale" approach in the early days (both for teams and customers)....
