Armed Forces Day is about celebrating the entire UK Armed Forces community. 🇬🇧 Every sailor, soldier and aviator. Every veteran. Every cadet. Every family member. Who has played a part in protecting our nation, and our allies. 🌍 We salute you this #ArmedForcesDay.

Out of all of the public services the Forces are the only ones that can do everything, have their own healthcare, police, fire and obviously Army, Navy and RAF. They are nearly peerless when it comes to skill, ability and attitude and should be supported as they have always been there for the people of the uk. Sadly 30 years of mistreatment and misuse by the respective governments have left our force a husk, putting our service personnel at risk but also our country. Hopefully who ever is elected in the coming days, will take the relevant steps to make sure joining the forces becomes a viable career option. And provides the required funding for the correct kit.

I spent 14 years in the military, first in the British Navy. When, as we used to say, "men were made of steel and the ships were made of wood". Now-a-days it's the other way around. :)

The best way you can thank service-people…. Help them transition to civilian life when their time comes, because it comes for all of them, no matter the age, gender, service or rank. So for those who care…. Show it in the best way possible ❤️

I have full confidence in our Armed Services personnel to perform their duty to a superior level. I wish I could say the same for the Politicians and the political decisions that steer the future of our Armed forces.

Currently in Normandy, visited gold.and sword beaches today, and the British memorial. What can I say. I can only visit that today due to the commitment of those brave men and the sacrifice they made. This is what the armed forces do for us. Keep our freedom and protect our future generations. Don't forget any of them,
