As individuals we all have different needs, wants and desires when it comes to work and developing our careers. But what is it that makes us happy at work? And can this be defined? 🤔 What makes a great working environment, and a positive culture. Is it the ability to add real value? Or the people you work with? Or is it that you simply you get the benefits you want/need? As someone who left full time employment to launch my own recruitment agency, my motivations were to allow me more flexibility around my other interests in life, and to make my own decisions based on how I want to work and the service that I want to deliver. Often when working with a client it is the “stuff” that isn't on the job description that I am most interested in.
