6 Reasons to Sell Your Product in the Big-Red-Sheds: The Warehouse On Wednesday, late morning, I had a chat with a Sales Leader who's been engaged with promoting their lines in TWL for some time and proving real success. Heres the top 5 reasons he shared why they're making TWL a key focus. 1. You're given more flexibility with promotions and marketing 2. Less paying with margin shares and rebates for space, marketing options, et cet er aaaa.... 3. They're being bold! Some products they'll take and run an extensive lost leading campaign to drive category growth in your segment, and their spend instore overall 4. They've a very different store offering. This opens up new consumer segments, or different angles and buying occasions with your usual shopper. 5. Having many eggs mostly in 3 baskets (that look likely to turn into 2 baskets) doesn't make for good risk management. 6. It's only growing. Get aboard now and grow as their slice of wallet grows There's probably more. But there may also be reasons you should consider NOT doing it. I'd like to learn more about that. What is the average time in role for sales people in REX partners? Having spent 3.5 years tracking many companies and personnel in the REX space across Crowd, Image recognition, POS data and SFA solutions, it is surprising (maybe just to me!) how quick some people move and the turnover rate. Ballpark is around 12-18 months. Dynamic talent that has outgrown their current business and moving to the next progression role or failed to turn the promised pipeline into sales and moving on before or actually having been fired for not delivering? As in all fields there are some amazing individuals who work for consultative and collaborative REX partners across all verticals who have deep industry expertise and bring significant value to CPG businesses. #retailexecution #CPG

Today I visited #reliance smart point (grocery products mall) and saw that many people bought #Glucon-D but didn't notice in offer. There they give 25 rupees off in 1 L Glucon-D, their MRP is ₹240 and they discount to ₹25 off and they sell only 74 rupees. No one noticed those things, also when I was talking to her salesperson regarding these issues. They say all things are written correctly. and then go to the manager and tell this issue. They come and show that and replace the correct poster offer. But, between morning to evening, they sell a lot of products due to incorrect posters. And people pay 215 rupees for that.
