Head of Internal Communications | Head of Employee Engagement | Communications Director | Culture | Public Relations
Happy trails. As DCC moves beyond its first decade in operation, I’ve been privileged to serve five years as its head of internal comms, developing and improving our performance and workplace culture. DCC is into the latter half of the rollout now and has grown and matured massively – as demonstrated last week by a top ten position in the UK and Ireland’s inspiring workplaces! I leave the company next month, to celebrate my own happy milestone of turning 50, extremely proud of all we’ve achieved on the UK’s smart meter revolution. I will miss the amazing professionals I’ve had the honour to lead as well as learn from…and our nifty handswipe security doors that made you feel like a Jedi! I’m taking time off to travel across Vietnam with my wife and kids this Summer but look forward to a new adventure again soon. First priority is to help my youngest master his bike, so we don’t veer into the paddy fields! In the meantime, catch me on here if you have a comms or engagement need in your world. I’ll be keeping my pencils sharp. 😀
Wishing you the very best on your adventure. Have a wonderful time with the family. Take care and have fun! R
