Central to this initiative is the introduction of interactive models and exhibits, including the innovative Pin Screen model. This hands-on learning tool allows students to explore the relationship between pressure and contact area directly. As they interact with the pins and observe the changes in contact area based on pressure, students not only grasp scientific principles but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. . It raises questions about the kind of cultural fest that discourages an individual from greeting attendees according to their upbringing. The incident in question involved a student being reprimanded for saying "Jai Shri Ram" during a cultural program. The response of the assistant professor, Mamata Gautam, who scolded the student, leaves us with much to ponder. In this interconnected and diverse world, our academic institutions should be leaders in promoting tolerance, respect, and acceptance. Acceptance doesn't mean uniformity but rather the celebration of differences and the ability to engage in constructive dialogues.
